Doesn't look like it... I think you have to use putty or telnet. And they only allow a 32 slot server without a licence.

I'll look into getting a license, I don't think it's all that impossible like Ventrillo.

Putty/Telnet are fine for now, I've heard that there is also a php style available - so the ts3 may be a ts3.bhngaming.com thing....still reading up on all the info in the documentation and forums. ; )

It's up to Beta 6 now, there is a new release nearly every single day thus far....

It looks pretty juicy so far. : )

So you're not going to put up a server till final release?

The TS2 servers will be up and going during the beta. I have TS3 servers running, but I'd rather not offer something that is going to go down without notice or have insecure bugs, etc...

Sorry, but once a final release, or a good release candidate is announced then I'll hook it up.

Being in the middle of a raid or working on an end game boss and losing communication could be a big deal - or losing a round in TF2 because you couldn't announce a spy would be a big frown face.

I do dig TS3 over TS2 though, it's looking really good/nice. = )

so I know for sure can you tell me if your running TS2 or TS3 please..... :dunno: I cant seem to get TS3 working right....

TS2 is the only voice chat server that BHN has publicly still.

Will be looking at moving all the TS2 servers over to TS3 once it is out of the beta phase and into a more stable RC phase at least.

I got TS3 running good, win7 (64).

ok thanx Miano.........I have  win 7 (64)  as well but cant get the voice to work on TS3...my headphones works fine on everything else.... :dunno:

I really didn't notice that much voice lag on TS2, and TS3 does seem instant to me.... :dunno:

I might be the wrong person to comment on that part.

Wow, thats pretty noticeable. I used Ventrillo for raiding in WoW, and TeamSpeak and really didn't ever have issues (we were pushing content too or doing 1800+ arenas).

what I have read is that ts3 is way better then ts2, voice lag atleast. Cant wait to see!

It's up, and if you see it up after 5 or 6pm, it will stay up for that night.

When the new beta server/clients come out, it may be down during the day, but should be back up before the night time. Test it out, see if you like it, etc....It is maxed out at 32 slots for now, I'll be adding virtual servers over time and getting all the TS2 Server Admins there own TS3 virtuals over the next couple of weeks (same dealios so far as uptime).
