Hey noobie, any other opinions of the beta thus far?
I was debating about this or CoD: w/e # is is, and i was leaning towards MOH. However, if you think its similar to BF:BC2 i may pass over it.

Yea, as of now Im leaning towards CoD and returning my purchase of MoH. Even though the beta is only 2 gametypes and 2 maps, thats not what im disappointed in. Its a beta, so thats fine. But the gameplay seems incredibly easy. The weapons all fire the same. They all play like the PP-2000 in BC2 or the ACR in MW2. Simply put, the guns all act like laser guns. Wheres the fun? No recoil? are you kidding me. Now, im hoping that its only like that for this beta, and come release, they actually release the full mp experience. Time will tell. As of now, I dont feel like playing a game that looks like BC2 and plays like MW2. I want a learning curve. Wheres the fun if all the weapons are the same except for the name and skin?

I totally see where you're coming from and I completely agree. I merely hope that Treyarch will deliver a game thats a step away from MW2 and that leans (pun intended) towards MW1. That being said, I honestly don't have that high of hopes as the Call of Duty franchise has become more and more of a cash cow and less the fun and excitement that it once promised.

yep, agree 100%. Thats why im banking on MoH official release to be a farcry from this half assed beta.

Ive been playing it a bit more and browsing the steam forums for it as well. Looks like all the constant crashing stems from when you get certain killstreaks. Weird, but most times it crashes its immediately after I kill the 3rd or 8 guy for motar and artillery strikes. Really pisses me off. Last night tho I was able to get like a 15 killstreak without crashining, twice. Its a predator missile. Lets just say it got over 9 kills, and the teams were 10vs10.

I would like to add that I too am disappointed in this game. It could have been so much more, but we are given MW2 all over again.

I've been hearing that the PC version of the Beta is completely jacked compared to the console. It simply should not have been released this early because it's making the game look broken.  If you think about it, there is no way that DICE will put out a PC multiplayer game that is that unpolished (they haven't even implemented recoil yet, though they will).  MP shooters on the PC is what DICE has been doing since day 1, so I'm expecting the game to be fine.

My issue is whether the MP is too similar to BC2's.  I'm more interested in playing the SP anyway, just not at $60.

The beta sounds like it's much better on consoles:http://kotaku.com/5571342/medal-of-honor-multiplayer-impressions-not-whats-right-just-whos-left

A friend of mine generously gave me one of his two beta keys for this game so i'll be trying it out for myself this weekend. I'll post back with my opinions although more than likely you have already covered your qualms with the game.
