I heard about this game coming out of E3 and through description, I had considered it a game similar to Borderlands, but it seems to be part Battlefield 2, part Team Fortress 2, and part Mirror's Edge. I finally got to see gameplay footage.  It wasn't overly impressive until the developer reminded me in the 2nd video that there was 8 player co-op.  Combine that with all the multiple classes and weapons loadouts and it starts to look a lot more interesting.

The graphics look amazing too. I like the stylized character models too. I'll be following this one closely and if I get hyped for it, you'll probably know by the number of posts this topic will have.

I think it's the Quake id tech 4 engine.

Different way of saying the same thing.  id = Quake... or it used to anyway.  Quake 4 is actually on the Doom 3 engine.  Now will there be a Doom 4 engine?  Where is John Carmack when you need him?
