I found this game http://store.steampowered.com/app/41300/ on steam, was $9.99 and it is extremely fun.  It is a multiplayer, class based(using different ships) 2d shooter with planes.  It reminds me of old 8bit gameplay, except with a bit of CoD perks and dedicated servers.  Well worth picking up if you are bored and have $10 to blow on steam.

I'm going to buy it tonight and see what it's all about....I've been playing FS2004 lately...and staring at the 8 discs to install X-Plane.
