I actually prefer the realism element of HC Newbie.  When you can't kill someone without hitting them a hundred times with a SAW, one can get a little discouraged.  I prefer that, when my mortar rounds land somewhat near an enemy, they actually die vs. softcore where they just shrug it off and shot me in the head.... : )  To each there own.

Hardcore is easycore in my eyes. Player health reduced to 50. Its the gametype for for players who are bad.

Doh!! =[  Its a difference in gaming community.  Most of the team left MW2 to play this game, but were still looking for that 1-3 shot kill from a gun perspective that the CoD series utilizes. When I play regular mode, I find that people swtich from sniper to assualt for the tube action to produce the same one shot one kill action.  Either or, both require a different style of game play to get the same results.  Reading this comment is leading me to believe this would be the reason we dont have a large server following.  I would have thought it to be the opposite. 

Don't dispair Disciple.  There are plenty that moved from HC and/or Tactical Realism modded HC on CoD4 over to HC in BFBC2.  Newbie is just as his name says....  Luv ya Newbs!

I had to do a rebuild of my pc - mobo went fubar - but once I'm back from vacation to AZ later in April I'll try to catch up with you guys.
