These kinds of pre order shenanigans are stupid as hell. Army of Two also had a game mode that wasn't unlocked for regular buyers until a month after release.
I've already given them my money through pre-order. It's weird that depending on where you buy the game you'll never see some of the in game content such as weapons. Especially in a multiplayer game.
It's really annoying. Having to read up and research where you need to preorder for specific options is just silly. : (
