Right now if you have pre-ordered Bad Company 2 through steam or other online-retailers, you should be able to download and play Bad Company 2 beta now! Reports are that the download speeds on Steam are well above half a meg per second, so as above: "GO GO GO!!!!"
The closed beta is now closed up for good, and it's onward to open beta for ST:O.
I've been fortunate enough to participate in the closed beta for the past two months or so and feel that this is a decent game for beta testing. If you enjoyed Champions Online even a little bit you'd be doing yourself a disservice if you missed out on this opportunity.

In one of the more anticipated MMORPG's on the horizon, the full listing of selectable classes has finally been unveiled. Still no word on the beta so far as we've heard. Many have signed up, Bioware hasn't released invitiations to anyone so far...or have they?
